Support Maysie as he rides to support dementia

Brendon May, better known as Maysie is riding a spin bike for eight hours to raise money for Alzheimers South Canterbury,

A few years back Maysie’s father Blue was diagnosed with dementia. It was a shock to the family as they came to terms with the disease that was affecting their hero. There was little they can do to stop the progression of this disease and it all felt a bit hopeless. Then they got in touch with Rosie from Alzheimers South Canterbury. Rosie has helped the family through this challenging journey offering support to Blue and his wife Mutti.

“My father (Blue) and mother (Mutti) receive fantastic support and services through Rosie and Alzheimers South Canterbury and through this fundraiser I hope to give back so they can continue to look after and support some of our most vulnerable in our community.”
